I visited this facility a few times when my dear friend was recovering from surgery. They had been through so much and needed good care. The nurses and staff were very caring and considerate. This made for a nice recovery.
Rio Hondo is a nice place to be. I see a lot of residents happy and playfully it shows in their face that they are happy. The atmosphere has a relaxing feeling. If I had to pick a place for a someone special to be it would be Rio Hondo. I especially like the comments of some residents that they enjoy their meals.
Activities staff are the best. Provide and so much positive energy to the residents. They are very lively and all residence and most family members really enjoyed being with them because they are very helpful and have a good relationship with the residents.
I thank Rio Hondo for keeping my dad’s room nice and clean. The housekeeper was polite and made sure we felt welcomed. I would recommend this facility to anyone.
My mom was there for a month and the care they provide was great. They have a good rehabilitation program and their staff was very helpful when ever I have questions regarding my mother’s health progress.
It’s always so clean and the staff are very welcoming. The rehab team takes their time and is dedicated to you and your needs. The activity programs are always so fun and creative. The whole team is always so joyful and is always encouraging everyone to participate to help make your stay a lot better. Very good distraction and also involves family members to attend special events.
From the moment I walked in you could just feel the positive energy. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. They checked me in and escorted me to my friend’s room. My friend went on and on about how kind the staff are and how much she’s improving with therapy. It really melted my heart.
During my stay here at Rio Hondo the staff treated me well, the food was amazing, and the physical therapy team did a great job in getting me strong. The special event activities were always fun and made me feel better when participating. Thank you all.
